CabiMed is designed for facilitating the work of general practitioners (family doctors) by automating most of their tasks related to the registration and servicing of patients.

CabiMed can be used either in individual or group practices. In the latter case, the application supports separate patient lists and activities for each individual doctor. Access is personalized by username and password, to ensure that confidential information is not shared among the doctors.

The main functionalities of CabiMed are:

• create, store, manage and print list of patients and all related personal and medical information;
• search personal and medical data for patients by providing specific keywords;
• include a patient in any specialized assistance program related to chronic diseases;
• on a regular basis create and print lists and reports required by national health authorities;
• prepare and deliver reports (printed or electronically submitted), either required by Health Insurance Funds, or selected according to the user's personal requirements. Reports may be predefined, or configured individually according to user requirements.

This application supports personal medical files, containing the full medical and social history of every patient: past diseases, examinations, tests, therapies including results, prescriptions, directions, immunizations etc. CabiMed covers the full range of general practitioner activities thereby providing a complete electronic patient file that can be electronically transmitted upon request.
